These Terms and Conditions of Sale (T&Cs) are entered into between
KAROTTE CROCHET SAS, a company registered with the Cusset Trade Register under number 981 650 955, with its headquarters at 37 Avenue de Gramont, 03200 Vichy, France, with a VAT number FR91981650955 (hereinafter referred to as "KAROTTE CROCHET"),
and any individual making a purchase through the following websites: www.karottecrochet.com, www.karottecrochet.fr, www.karottecrochet.es, www.karottecrochet.pt, and www.karottecrochet.it, hereinafter referred to as the "CUSTOMER".
These T&Cs aim to set out the conditions under which KAROTTE CROCHET sells products to the CUSTOMER. Unconditional acceptance of these terms is required for any order placed, with the stipulation that these transactions are reserved for individuals who are of legal age and have the legal capacity to contract.
KAROTTE CROCHET reserves the right to adapt or modify these T&Cs at any time. In the event of a modification, the T&Cs in effect on the day of the order will apply to each order.
To place an order, the CUSTOMER must provide the necessary personal information, select a delivery address and method, and confirm their payment method. This final step constitutes the formalization of the sales contract binding the CUSTOMER to KAROTTE CROCHET.
By validating their order, the CUSTOMER fully accepts the prices, descriptions of the products offered for sale, and the terms of these Terms and Conditions of Sale. Product availability is subject to stock levels. If a product is out of stock after the order has been placed, KAROTTE CROCHET commits to informing the CUSTOMER within 7 days and offering an alternative solution or proceeding with a refund of the amounts already paid, according to the CUSTOMER's choice.
We strive to provide accurate information about the essential features of our products through detailed technical descriptions and photographs illustrating each item. It is important to note that product images are for indicative purposes only, and color variations may occur due to technical differences such as screen settings or minor color changes during production. These variations are not considered defects and do not invalidate the sale.
The prices of our items are expressed in euros and include VAT applicable according to the CUSTOMER's delivery country. Shipping costs, calculated based on the weight of the package and the delivery destination, will be added to the total amount of the order at the time of checkout.
To pay for their order, the CUSTOMER can choose one of the following payment methods: credit card or PayPal. To ensure the security of transactions, all online payments are processed through the secure Stripe platform.
Once the order is validated, KAROTTE CROCHET commits to preparing and shipping the items within 48 working hours. Shipping costs, calculated according to the destination of the package, are added to the total of the order at the time of checkout.
KAROTTE CROCHET ensures delivery to the following countries, subject to the availability of postal services at the time of payment of the order: Germany, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Croatia, Denmark, Spain (mainland only), Estonia, Finland, France (mainland only, excluding Corsica and overseas territories), Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal (mainland only), Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Sweden.
Two delivery options are offered:
• CTT (home delivery): estimated delivery time between 4 and 6 working days.
• MONDIAL RELAY / INPOST (pickup point delivery): estimated delivery time between 5 and 7 working days, option available only for France, Spain, and Portugal.
It is important to note that the mentioned delivery times are indicative and not guaranteed. KAROTTE CROCHET cannot be held responsible for delays in delivery not directly attributable to it.
In the event of non-delivery of an order due to a fault attributable to the CLIENT (such as failure to collect the parcel at the pick-up point, absence of the recipient, etc.), the CLIENT may submit a refund request by email to the following address: commande@karottecrochet.com. KAROTTE CROCHET will refund the amount corresponding to the items within seven (7) days of receiving the request. It is specified that the shipping costs will not be refunded.
The shipping location of our products is in Portugal.
The CUSTOMER has a right of withdrawal allowing them to cancel their contract without providing reasons within 14 calendar days following the physical receipt of the goods.
To exercise this right of withdrawal, the CUSTOMER must notify KAROTTE CROCHET by email at order@karottecrochet.com. To comply with the withdrawal period, it is sufficient for the CUSTOMER to send their communication regarding the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the 14-day period expires.
In the event of cancellation of the contract, KAROTTE CROCHET will refund the CUSTOMER all payments made, including shipping costs, no later than 14 days from the date on which KAROTTE CROCHET is informed of the CUSTOMER's decision to withdraw. KAROTTE CROCHET reserves the right to delay the refund until the goods are recovered or until the CUSTOMER provides proof of their return, with the date considered being the first of these events.
The CUSTOMER must return the goods to KAROTTE CROCHET without undue delay and, in any case, no later than 14 days after notifying us of their decision to withdraw. The items must be returned in their original condition and with their original packaging. Items must be returned in a tracked package to our warehouse located in Portugal. Return costs will be borne by the CUSTOMER.
Please note that PDF tutorials, due to their digital nature, are not eligible for a refund.
KAROTTE CROCHET reminds the CUSTOMER of the existence of the legal warranty of conformity that covers defects in conformity of the products sold. If a purchased product has a defect in conformity or does not match the order placed, the CUSTOMER has the right to request a replacement or refund of the product in question.
The replacement of the product will be done at no cost to the CUSTOMER and within a maximum of 14 days from the date on which KAROTTE CROCHET has been notified of the defect by the CUSTOMER. If the replacement or repair of the product is impossible, the CUSTOMER will have the option to return the product and receive a full refund.
All visual, audio, and video elements on KAROTTE CROCHET websites are protected by copyright law. Any reproduction, translation, or distribution of these elements, without the prior written consent of KAROTTE CROCHET, is strictly prohibited.
Tutorials provided by KAROTTE CROCHET are for personal use only and must not be distributed in any way. Furthermore, the commercialization of products made from these tutorials is strictly prohibited.
The "KAROTTE CROCHET" brand, including the name and logo, is a registered trademark with INPI under number 24 5024549. Any unauthorized use of this trademark could constitute an infringement of intellectual property rights.
The CUSTOMER can contact KAROTTE CROCHET's customer service by email at the following address: order@karottecrochet.com. A response will be provided within 48 working hours.
KAROTTE CROCHET shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms and Conditions of Sale, if such failure or delay is caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
Force majeure includes any event or situation beyond our control, including:
1. Strikes, lockouts, or other industrial actions.
2. Civil unrest, riots, invasions, threats or acts of terrorism, wars (declared or not) or preparations for war.
3. Fire, explosions, storms, floods, earthquakes, shipwrecks, epidemics, or other natural disasters.
4. Inability to use public or private transportation such as trains, ships, airplanes, or other means of transport.
5. Inability to use public or private telecommunication systems.
6. Decisions, decrees, laws, regulations, or restrictions imposed by any government or public authority.
During the period in which force majeure continues, our obligations will be suspended and we will be granted an extension of time to fulfill them equivalent to the duration of the force majeure. We will use all reasonable means to bring the force majeure situation to an end or to find a solution allowing us to fulfill our obligations despite the circumstances.
These Terms and Conditions of Sale represent the entire agreement between the contracting parties. If any provision of these terms is declared null or unenforceable by a competent court, this shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the other provisions.
These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to submit their dispute to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the CUSTOMER's residence, thereby waiving any other judicial recourse.
